America World is partnering with a children's home in the Port Au Prince area to provide educational sponsorships and nutritional support during a time of intense turmoil in Haiti. Without intervention, the children we seek to serve will not have adequate nutrition, and they will lose access to opportunities for education.
Here is how you can help:
- $28 will provide basic nutrition for one child for one month.
- $48 will provide basic + enhanced nutrition for one child for one month
- $57 will provide an education (tuition, supplies, etc.) for one child for one month.
- $105 will provide enhanced nutrition + education for one child for one month.
Our goal is to meet each child's total education and nutrition needs ($105/month per child).
If we receive gifts beyond the total needed for education and food, any additional funds will go to other needs (because there are many!), including clean water, septic fixes, basic building maintenance and improvements, and transportation. We will let you know about that, but we're definitely not there yet!
