Since 2018, Bete Hosanna, our teen transition home in Ethiopia, has been changing lives, and we are so grateful for everyone who has partnered with us along the way. Therefore, we want to involve our community in helping us solve the current challenges we are facing.
Our three challenges:
- Inflation in Ethiopia has been so drastic (30% last year!) that our budgeted money is less than what we need to operate the home.
- We need to increase our monthly giving program so we can have a consistent monthly income. (Choosing to give monthly is an option on this page!)
- We want to continue to support our graduates after they leave the home. Obviously, we want them to be self-sustaining, but we want to provide a buffer so that we can help them when they have emergencies — just like a parent might help a young adult.
We are excited to announce that an anonymous donor has offered to help us meet these challenges with a $25,000 grant to match any donations we receive through the end of September.
