Laura and Larry Tedeschi brought their daughter Elaria home from China over ten years ago. They have, kindly, been very grateful for the work AWAA did to help them bring their daughter home. In a recent interview Laura shared "America World gave us the opportunity to become a family." Elaria, now 13, is their first and only child.

Tragically, Larry lost a hard-fought battle with cancer a little over a year ago. It was a sudden diagnosis and a quick moving cancer that took his life in just 14 months.

Elaria is a talented figure-skater and her skating community recently decided to host a benefit in Larry's memory. The proceeds from this benefit went to America World to further the impact they have in lives of orphaned children. We are now extending this story and event to those who were unable to attend. There is still time to give a gift in Larry's honor and memory. Please consider joining us today.

We are incredibly thankful for the Tedeschi family and the Smithfield Figure Skating Club.
