Hermon Children's Home and school opened in 1979 to provide shelter and education to orphans living in a remote part of South Asia. The majority of those children were orphaned as a result of extreme poverty and increasing rates of addiction and HIV/AIDS.

Many locals and international IGOs contributed support for the home at that time, however, starting in 2005 its main sponsor gradually withdrew it's support, leaving Hermon in disrepair.

By God's grace Hermon Children's Home continues its ministry with support from churches and other Christian non profits including One Orphan. Today we are invited you to become part of that support system by becoming a monthly donor. Your gift will enable orphaned children to receive:

• Safe and loving living conditions
• Clean water
• Food
• Education: safe classrooms, books, technology, etc.
• Medical Care
• Christian discipleship and Biblical teaching

At present, there are 58 children under the care of one Manager, one Home Mother, One Counselor, One Case-Worker, Three Wardens, 2 Drivers and 6 other staff like cooks and helpers.
